While we one day hope to have a performing arts centre of our own, in the mean time we will as per our corporate objectives;

MYPAC Executive Director Jade Jager Clark is most renowned for her abilities and achievements as a Choreographer, Entrepreneur and Dance educator and the success of her Dance Studio, Jade’s Hip Hop Academy (JHHA) and JHHA Performance Company.
Her Academy focuses solely on youth, bringing out the full potential of each student as they learn the history and technique of Hip Hop and Street Dance styles as created by the original generation (og) of African and Latino American dancers. This approach makes JHHA unique and one of the few studios of its kind in the world to work with the og’s and deliver the most authentic curriculum as possible to preserve the artistic and cultural heritage of Campbellocking, Waacking, Breaking, Popping, Hip Hop, House, Krump and Lite Feet.
Jade’s ability to train and mentor youth into professional performing artists through hip hop and street dance styles has garnered the attention of many prominent arts festivals, corporations, charities and sporting organizations that have now worked with and featured JHHA at their events.
From curating performances for Ellen DeGeneres, Toronto Raptors, AGO or TIFF Jade has witnessed the power of young people to connect with and inspire audiences in a way that people twice their age just can not. The future is in our youth and Jade wanted to continue to expand the opportunities her young dancers had to showcase their talent and make a difference. As ED of MYPAC she can not only elevate her Academy students, but the reach of her mentorship and ability to create opportunities to showcase talent now extends to youth all across Ontario in multiple artistic disciplines. Jade’s next goal is to develop strategic partnerships with like minded arts educators and organizations to achieve MYPACS mission and vision.
Jade's artistic background includes Fashion Commerce & Design, Choir and Vocal Training and Visual Arts major in Drawing and Photography. She is graduate of the Humber College Fashion Arts Program and Peterborough Collegiate and Vocational School (PCVS) Integrated Arts Program. Notable graduates of PCVS include Serena Ryder and Sean Cullen.
Jade is a past member of the Board of Directors of Dance Ontario from 2009-2019. She is the recipient of numerous arts and business accolades including the Harry Jerome Young Entrepreneur Award 2011, Brampton Board of Trade emerging business awared 2012 and International Ambassador Award 2017, a nominee for Mississauga Arts Countil Marty Awards, recepient of the Afroglobal Heritage Award 2024 and in 2012 at the age of 24 she was the youngest ever recipient of the Brampton Arts Organization
‘Arts Person of the year’ Award.

I studied Economics and Business at the University of Alberta as I had a keen interest in understanding global issues and events. My minor in sociology allowed me to study the societal impacts of our globalized world.
My love of Economics and my interest in understanding societal issues has really helped me understand how much the arts brings humanity together. Now, with over 10yrs experience in finance and human resources sector, I am happy to be able to bring my experience to the board and to be a part of this very wonderful organization. Arts has such a profound impact on all of us and I love supporting our youth.

Working in the healthcare industry for over 25 years, as an accomplished nurse leader, I continue my advocacy work on supporting inclusive, diverse and equitable professional opportunities, health services to minority women, children and disadvantaged populations within our multicultural communities.
I have a strong passion for the non-profit sector having leadership experience as a former Director caring for children with medical complexities. Along with my director position at MYPAC, I continue with my direct involvement as a 10 year tenure board of directors member for WECAN, an organization dedicated to supporting Caribbean women diagnosed with gynaecological cancers.
My work as a leader will continue as I provide mentorship and coaching for new and emerging leaders in healthcare system that can help to improve and strengthen our communities.

My travels throughout 43 countries have given me a broader prospective of life and a profound respect for each human being regardless of their socio-economic, ethnic or religious background as well as all other living creatures and nature itself.
The Arts is an important ingredient of life all over the world. It’s inspiring, it enriches and revitalizes every human being and should therefore be nourished.
While there is a so much funding available for professional development for young entrepreneurs, young STEM students and innovators and young athletes, the funding for platforms for young professional performing artists is lacking.
That’s why I am passionate about being involved in MYPAC using my experience in business management consulting to see the success of this not for profit to help as many youths as possible while bringing to light so many of the issues affecting humanity that I have witnessed on my travels.We hope you get inspired too and partner up with us.
